Senior Software Engineer (C# and Azure)

The Wakapi Team is getting bigger!! We are looking for a new member, a Wakaper, someone interested in being our new Senior Software Engineer (C# and Azure) !

The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in C# and Azure to join our development team.
As a key member, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality cloud-based applications that support our strategic business objectives. You will have a direct impact on our ability to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions that meet our clients' needs and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust, scalable software solutions.

  • Design and develop cloud-based applications using C# and Azure services, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

  • Implement best practices in coding standards, security, and testing to build high-quality applications.

  • Conduct end-to-end development tasks, including system architecture, backend logic, and API development.

  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline development workflows.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications to ensure scalability and responsiveness.

  • Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and software engineering practices, advocating for improvements where relevant.


    Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on C# and Azure.

  • Extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB).

  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API development, and cloud-native design principles.

  • Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and experience with both SQL and NoSQL data stores.

  • Solid knowledge of software development best practices, including SOLID principles, unit testing, and code versioning (e.g., Git).

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
