Senior Scrum Master

The Role:

We are on the lookout for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Scrum Master to lead and coach Agile teams in delivering high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies, team facilitation, and driving continuous improvement. This role requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to foster collaboration and efficiency across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions to maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing enhancements.
  • Guide teams in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, tailoring approaches to fit organizational needs.
  • Monitor team performance using Agile metrics and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Coach team members, Product Owners, and leadership on Agile principles and practices.
  • Drive cross-team coordination and collaboration to optimize workflow and dependencies.
  • Ensure transparency and effective communication among teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 7+ years in Agile environments.
  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Experience working with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and drive Agile maturity at scale.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in enterprise-level Agile transformations is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or Advanced Scrum Master certification.
  • Agile Coaching or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
